Every game on this site is an original browser adaptation created by Online Board Games Hub itself. Nothing here is downloaded from, licensed from or embedded from a publisher’s product. That has a practical consequence you should know before playing: games with large or complicated official rules - Monopoly, Catan, Risk, Ticket to Ride and similar - are presented as simplified editions that preserve the spirit and core loop of the game on a screen and in a reasonable session length. Differences from the official rules may exist, and each game page states plainly what was streamlined.

Games with compact, widely-shared rules - chess, checkers, Othello, mancala, tic-tac-toe, backgammon, Connect Four and others - are implemented with their full conventional rules, but even there a browser edition may pick one convention where house or tournament variants differ.

Many game names used on this site - Monopoly, Catan, Risk, Scrabble, UNO, Yahtzee, Exploding Kittens and others - are trademarks of their respective publishers and owners. Those names appear on this site only as descriptive references to the style and genre of game being played, in the same way a recipe site might name a dish it teaches you to cook at home.

This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any game publisher or rights holder, and no such relationship exists unless explicitly stated on the site (it has not been). All trademarks remain the property of their owners, and no claim of ownership is made or implied by their use here. Public domain classics such as chess or mancala carry no such concerns: their rules belong to everyone, and only this site’s original presentation of them is claimed.

The boards, pieces, cards, tiles, colors and interfaces you see on this site are original creations made for it. The games contain no official artwork, no scanned or reproduced boards, no publisher card designs and no text copied from any official rulebook. If a playing piece looks like a knight or a property card looks like a deed, that is because the concept is functional and generic, not because it was taken from a boxed product.

The written rules, strategy notes and FAQs on the game pages are original summaries written in plain language for casual play. They are deliberately simplified where the full rules run long, and they describe how the game works on this site, which for simplified editions is by definition not the complete official rule set.

Players who want the authoritative version - exact card distributions, tournament tie-breakers, edge-case rulings, official errata - should consult the publisher’s official materials and rulebooks. This site makes no claim of being a substitute for them.

For branded titles, this site makes no claim of authenticity, completeness or equivalence to the official product. What it claims is narrower and stated on every game page: here is an original, playable, clearly-labelled adaptation, and here is exactly what it simplifies. If that trade-off suits a casual evening, the games are here to be enjoyed; if you need the official experience, the publishers’ own products are the right place for it.
